Simge Soto Carril began her legal career in Istanbul, Turkey, in 2009. After graduating from the University of Istanbul, Faculty of Law, she worked as a lawyer (Avukat) in reputable international law firms, focusing on corporate law and international arbitration.

In 2015, she completed her Master of Laws (LL.M.) at the University of Cologne, Germany, graduating Magna cum Laude (with great praise). She subsequently joined the corporate department of a leading international magic circle law firm in Hamburg.

Following her involvement in numerous international M&A transactions and her broad experience in corporate law, she continued her career in the healthcare and medical device sectors, holding in‑house roles as a Corporate Lawyer and Senior Compliance Manager. In these positions, she worked with various pharmaceutical and biotech companies on clinical trial and site contracting matters, and additionally gained experience in data privacy and healthcare compliance. 

Simge Soto Carril also completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at the FOM University of Applied Sciences in Hamburg. She is a member of both the Istanbul and Hamburg Bar Associations.

She speaks Turkish, English, German, and Spanish, and has beginner‑level Japanese skills.
